Luca Scaccabarozzi
Luca Scaccabarozzi is an Italian choir conductor who also performs as a pianist and singer.
He won first prize at the “Romano Gandolfi” International Competition for Choral Conductors in Parma in 2021 and has been awarded as best conductor in several choral competitions. He has also won first prizes in national and international choir competitions.
He teaches Choral training and Choir Conducting at the Conservatory of Music in Alessandria and is frequently invited to hold masterclasses for choristers and conductors.
He is founder and conductor of the professional choir Zephyrus Consort and collaborates as choirmaster with several professional choirs.
As a choir singer he works in the most important European theatres on tours and festivals with Cecilia Bartoli.
He is also invited as a juror for national and international choral competitions.
