The World’s First Choral Conducting App: Conductor’s Coach
Ester Petri and Jan Schumacher (Germany)
How can you work at home effectively on a solid conducting technique? With the Conductor’s Coach, Carus presents the world’s very first application that allows choral conductors to practise, refine and professionalize their technique independently. A perfect addition or refresher for choral conducting lessons. The specially programmed video player in the browser-based app offers users the opportunity to check their own movement sequences in detail.
How the innovative Carus app does become the perfect companion for optimizing your choral conducting skills? In this session, Jan Schumacher will guide you through the various topics and familiarize you with the technical possibilities of the Conductor’s Coach. As one of the most experienced choral conducting experts he designed this app which was then developed by Carus and financially supported by the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and the European Union.
