Practical information for participants
- If you are arriving by plane, there are several possibilities to get from airport to the centre: buses 2 and 15 depart just from airport door (follow the sign BUSES), or you can take taxi (standing in front of the main door). Taxi apps Uber an Bolt are also widely used.
- On July 3-6 the city transportation in Tallinn is FREE for everyone! So, you can just use public buses for getting everyhwere!
- On July 7-9 the city transportation is free for Leading Voices participants. To use it, wear your participation badge, and validate your QR-code (back side of the badge) in the validator by the FRONT DOOR of the bus when entering the vehicle!
- The Leading Voices activities take place mainly in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (Tatari 13). The entrance is from Sakala Street side, marked with Leading Voices beach flags.
- LV check-in is on Sunday, July 6th at 10.00-15.00 in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. There you will get your bags, programme books and badges.
- Song Celebration tickets have been sent to you in advance by e-mail. Please bring them with you, there is no printouts available in Tallinn!
- If you won’t arrive early enough for check-in on Sunday, you are welcome to go to Song Celebration Concert, and come to check-in on Monday morning from 8.30.
- Bring your water bottle and fill it from drinking water tap in EAMT during the event!
- There are some eating places which offer special prices with Leading Voices badges (information attached). In addition, the rooftop cafteria in EAMT will offer coffee, drinks and snacks during the event. The opening times are:

Tuesday, July 8th at 12.00-22.00
Wednesday, July 9th at 12.00-19.00
- There was pre-registration available for all sessions, and all participants who made their choice, will get participation badge with QR-code, which is your ticket for selected sessions. If you did not pre-register, or want to change your mind, on-spot registration is available in festivali info desk for all days!
- Please be in your booked session at least 5 minutes before it starts, after that not-registered people are free to get in and take available seats!
- There is limited number of seats in the Night Concert on Monday, July 7th in Niguliste Church. Participants will get in with their badges, until the hall is full. Please be there at least 10 minutes before the concert, after that people without tickets can get in, if there are still free seats left.
- Please bring enough spare clothes, including options for different weather situations (check the weather forecast in Tallinn before leaving). Don’t forget your umbrella, raincoat and warm clothes, as it can get quite chilly in Song Celebration Groung during the 7-hours concert 😊.
- Please note that using umbrella is not allowed in Song Celebration Ground! Only raincoats are allowed there, and you can buy one on the square, or bring your own.
