YEMP – 10 participants from 9 countries have been selected

YEMP = Young Event Management Programme is designed for providing young and talented choral organisers with a unique training-on-the-job opportunity. It unites digital competencies, an intense course and work-based learning, all within Leading Voices 2025.

Following the closing of the call on early February, the YEMP Steering Committee met on February 12th and selected 10 candidates from 9 different countries (Czech Republic, Chile, Estonia, Ireland, Lithuania, Norway, The Netherlands, Türkiye and the UK). Additional nationalities include Portuguese (living in the Netherlands) and Ukrainian (living in Estonia). The list includes 5 men and 5 women, as well as a good age-range from 22 to 29 (age in July 2025).

Two additional applicants (1 man and 1 woman from Canada, and The Netherlands (with Macedonian nationality) were put on a waiting list, in case one of the selected candidates will withdraw or cancel their participation.

The young YEMPers will be fully included in the organising team and testing themselves with roles in the various offices of the event, under the guidance of two mentors.
